This tutorial will teach you each step to post a file in your site hosted on Mega Provedor. Read with attention each steps indicated below.
Note: Before use our FTP service, make sure of your DNS production.
1. When accept a host plan or resale with Mega Provedor you'll receive a login and password do realize your files posts. Take care of your login and password.
2. Download LeechFTP here. Install it in your computer (this tool is freeware).
3. Open the LeechFTP clicking on menu "start"> "all programs" > "LEECHFTP".
4. Click on the icon indicated by the arrow.
5. You'll view the connection box. Complete the field "host or URL" with your domain FTP address, In this case lets use the example: ftp.example.com. Fill it too the fields "username" with your login and "Password" with your password, both provided by Mega Provedor, then click "OK". ATTENTION: If your login or password be digited incorrectly, you'll see a error message:
< 530 Login incorrect. ! Invalid username or password for ftp.example.com ~ Could not login to ftp.example.com ~ Disconnected
If it happen, go back to step 4 of this tutorial and write it again. If you forgot your password, contact our support.
6. In the white part indicated by the arrow, open the folder where are your site's files.
7. Copy the files to the folder public_html indicated by the arrow.
8. Drag your site's files as the way indicated by the yellow arrow.
Now the files has already been transfered and posted on your site.
- If after realized the files upload and you still don't seen your site, open your browser and press Ctrl+F5 to clean the Cache memory of your browser
- Will be necessary has a file called index.htm, index.html, index.asp or index.php in your folder public_html for you be able to see it correctly, this file named INDEX will be the first to be loaded. If you see in your site a message "Page not found", transfer again the file index.
- Your file's names can't contain spaces or accents.
- The file's names AWAYS must be minuscule and without spaces.
